Born a century after the conventional ECG (EKG), our patented 12-lead Crebrocardiography (CCG) is a novel cardiac diagnostic technology utilized in FDA-cleared products. This unique technology has received the Premier Minister Award & Gold Medal at the Eureka International Invention Fair in Brussels, Belgium.

Underlying Theory

The 12-lead CCG core technology housed in our CARDx ECD system is rooted in quantum power spectrum and biocybernetic principles, which have been used widely in the aerospace, nuclear, and electronics industries for years.

CCG core technology uses a cardiac mathematical model based on the concept that the human heart works like an engine (blood pump), with the blood vessels and electric conduction acting as the transmission. The myocardium is a viscoelastic solid, while blood behaves as a non-Newtonian fluid at low and intermediate shearing states. This cardiac mathematical model is generally accepted by physiologists worldwide.

The Frank-Starling rule provides a physiologic basis for the electromechanical relations intrinsic to the biocybernetic concepts underlying this technology's theoretical approach to the mathematical modeling of the myocardium.

Two of the cardiac mathematical model formulas utilized in this technology are as follows (for details, please refer to our Technical White Paper):

Myocardium as viscoelastic solid with m myocardial shells:

How the CARDx ECD Works

  1. The CARDx ECD measures the electrical signals generated by the heart.
  2. The Fast-Fourier Transfer (FFT) transforms the time-domain wave into its frequency spectrum.
  3. Cardiac cybernetic principles and mathematical model are then applied to the analysis of cardiac functions and conditions (e.g. indicating the level of heart diseases such as CAD). The quantum statistical analysis is compared against more than 30,000 globally collected clinical results, stored in the CARDx ECD reference database. This serves to detect and differentiate various heart dysfunctions in an early, accurate, fast, and non-invasive manner.

Since 1999, new indices and thresholds for more CCG/ECG (EKG) leads have been discovered and integrated into the software and hardware for further optimization of heart dysfunction detection.

Preliminary evidence has demonstrated that CARDx ECD is good at identifying asymptomatic patients of CAD. This identification of silent ischemia and small percent coronary narrowings allows the implementation of preventive measures that may reduce and delay the onset of a first myocardial infarction.

Recognized for High (>90%) Sensitivity and Specificity
Our CARDx ECD 12-lead CCG technology diagnoses occlusive CAD with up to 100% sensitivity and 98% specificity as compared to the conventional coronary angiogram. The accuracy of differential diagnosis for heart dysfunctions (e.g. CAD, LVH, LV dysfunction, pulmonary heart disease, heart failure, etc.) averages 90%.

The 12-lead CCG has been recognized by a number of global cardiologists to be a medical breakthrough in the early detection, differentiation, and follow-up evaluation of heart dysfunctions.
